The Days - Digital Comic

In 2019 Sean asked his friend Alison for a very short piece of writing so that he could practice his comic-making techniques. He was expecting, like, a dialogue scene between two punks getting falafels or something easy to slap some drawings over.

Instead Alison wrote an incredibly honest and beautiful portrayal of living with a mental illness and stuffed up all of Sean's plans. It then took him a whole year of building his artistic skills before he felt ready to do it justice.

'The Days' Chronicles a day in the life a blobby little creature who reflects anyone that has ever felt the occasional crushing difficulty of simply existing. As raw as it is sweet, this short story shines a light on both the melancholy of mental illness, and the small personal things that make it easier to get through the days.
